A little history
A significant necropolis was located at the lieu-dit le Chemin des Dats, on the boundary with l'Epine, to the right of and slightly overhanging the Mau. At this site, more than a hundred burials were excavated by Bossus (1894–95), l'abbé Favret, Schmit and Lemoine (around 1904), and traces of dwellings and silos were also uncovered. The objects date from the 5th century BC, but no earlier dating is specified for the dwellings (Neolithic?).
