A little history
The bishop of Troyes had a rural residence there, made up of « d'un chastel cloz de meurs et de fosse à eaux vive et attenant des fosses une basse-court en laquelle a deux granche et une maison pour mettre les bleds et le betail ». It formed a commune from 1789 to year III, at which point it was merged with Saint-Lyé. In 1901 the Club Aéronautique de l'Aube was founded, dedicated to ballooning. In 1911 the aerodrome of Saint-Lyé was created.
