Exposée à un climat océanique altéré, elle est drainée par le ruisseau de l'ancien Étang de Pot de Vin, le ruisseau de l'Étang Chaud, le fossé 01 de la commune de Saint-Eliph et divers autres petits cours d'eau. Incluse dans le parc naturel régional du Perche, la commune possède un patrimoine naturel remarquable composé de deux sites Natura 2000 et deux zones naturelles d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique.
