A little history
The site was occupied as far back as Prehistory. The hearths lit more than 40,000 years ago in the grotte de Rigabe (Artigues) bear witness to this. Later, the Celto-Ligurians raised the stone walls of numerous oppidums at the summits of hills. The largest crowns the Montmajor (-200 BC).
