A little history
As with the whole of this part of the Brie plateau, human occupation of the territory of Quincy-Voisins is ancient. Several archaeological excavations across the commune's land have uncovered elements dating from prehistory, as well as remains of Gallo-Roman structures, roads and dwellings, and a necropolis from the early Middle Ages. However, one must wait until the year one thousand for written sources to mention the village. In 1005, a charter from a bishop of Meaux cites the hamlet of Ségy, which was then an independent parish.
