A little history
The commune of Péronnas has been the subject of several genealogical studies, notably with the association Cousain, a partner of the departmental archives of l'Ain. These studies have established that the oldest known family names in the commune are Vernée (de la) in 1474, Goyet in 1482, Prevel in 1563, Sacquenay (de) in 1563, Hurigny (d') in 1602, Pavillon in 1667, Seyvert (de) in 1670, and Saix (de) in the 11th century.
