A little history
Nexon is situated on the edge of the great ancient road that linked Bourges to Bordeaux throughout the first millennium. The history of Nexon is tied to that of the Lastours, the first barons of Limousin and lords of Nexon, Hautefort and Pompadour, then through the marriage of Agnès de Lastours to Guy de Nexon in the 13th century and through the sale of this co-lordship, with its rights of justice, vassals, homages, dovecote… by Galliot de Lastours to Léonard de Gay in 1532.
