This commune corresponds to the grouping together of the former communes of Les Abrets, Fitilieu and La Bâtie-Divisin. The town hall is situated in the hôtel de ville of the former commune of Les Abrets.
A little history
For the period preceding the merger, reference should be made to the articles dedicated to the former communes concerned. On 17 November 2015, the municipal councillors of the three communes, Les Abrets, La Bâtie-Divisin and Fitilieu, decided on the creation of the new commune. Les Abrets voted 21 in favour, 5 against and one abstention. Fitilieu voted 16 in favour and 3 against. La Bâtie-Divisin voted unanimously in favour. The new commune was created by the prefectoral order of 30 December 2015 with effect from 1 January 2016.
