A little history
On 16 October 982, Narduin, Viscount of Mâcon, gave to the abbey of Notre-Dame, Saint-Pierre et Saint-Benoit de Fleury his own and acquired assets at Sommeré (Saumeriacum), parish of Saint-Sorlin, including the eight colonges ceded in May 895 to that abbey by Winter, lord of Sommeré, and his son Thierry, which Narduin held as a benefice from the abbot Amalbert.
