A little history
The village of Ghisonaccia was created by inhabitants of Ghisoni who, farming fields in this plain and needing to bring in their harvests, built houses there. The commune of Ghisonaccia was created in 1845 by the division of the commune of Lugo-di-Nazza. In the 1960s, the boom in agriculture allowed the commune to become a small, prosperous town.
