A little history
Guillaume de Puget, viguier d'Avignon (1347-1348), vice-sénéchal de Provence (1353), chevalier, was co-lord of Puget-Théniers, co-lord of Figanières, de Bargemon, Flayosc, etc. He was counsellor and chamberlain to Queen Jeanne, whom he followed from Provence to Naples. He had at least two sons, Guillaume and Honorat, co-lords of Figanières. On 27 November 1370, Manuel de Pugeto (?-before 1384), lord of Figanières, had as his judge Antoine Laurentii, former judge of Puget-Thénier, then of Grasse.
