A little history
In 632, King Dagobert ceded Iticiniscoam, comprising the present-day territories of Ézanville and Écouen, to the abbaye de Saint-Denis. Ézanville, which was no more than a village, was at that time an annexe to the cure of Écouen which, from 1060, came under the prieuré de Saint-Martin-des-Champs in Paris. Around 1030, Bouchard III de Montmorency gave his daughter, as an inheritance, the territory of Ézanville, which she donated to the couvent Notre-Dame de Saint-Paul-en-Beauvaisis. At the beginning of the 19th century, the village had around 200 inhabitants who lived principally from agriculture.
