Dangeau is a new commune, situated in the département of Eure-et-Loir in the région of Centre-Val de Loire, created on 1 January 2018. It was formed by the merger of three communes, Bullou, Dangeau (the former commune) and Mézières-au-Perche, under the status of a new commune, without the creation of delegated communes. Exposed to an altered oceanic climate, it is drained by the Loir, the Foussarde, the Ozanne, the Vallée de Vilsard, the Vallée du Marché Saussay and various other small watercourses.
