A little history
The history of the commune is rich and ancient. The territory was already occupied in prehistoric times, as evidenced by the two statues-menhirs discovered in the mid-twentieth century at Luzzipeo. An archaeological excavation campaign has just begun on the site. The Roman city of Olmia existed at that time, giving its name to the former pieve d'Olmia.
