A little history
Before the Romans, the inhabitants were the Sénons (Gauls). The Romans occupied Bray-sur-Seine until the end of the 4th century. Then came the invasions, the Visigoths, the Burgundians, the Franks, the Huns… In 595, Bray-sur-Seine became part of Burgundy, whose king was Théodoric, grandson of Queen Brunehaut. In 880, the longships of the Vikings sailed up the Seine as far as Troyes.
