The communes of La Chapelle-Yvon, Saint-Cyr-du-Ronceray, Saint-Julien-de-Mailloc, Saint-Pierre-de-Mailloc and Tordouet took on the status of commune déléguée.
A little history
The commune was created on 1 January 2016 by a prefectoral order of 9 December 2015, by the merger of five communes, under the legal framework of communes nouvelles established by law no 2010-1563 of 16 December 2010 on the reform of local authorities. The communes of La Chapelle-Yvon, Saint-Cyr-du-Ronceray, Saint-Julien-de-Mailloc, Saint-Pierre-de-Mailloc and Tordouet became communes déléguées and Saint-Cyr-du-Ronceray is the chef-lieu of the commune nouvelle.
