A little history
Before this date, six communes previously existed. The commune of Tremblay-le-Vicomte temporarily bore, during the French Revolution, the name of Tremblay-Sans-Culottes. Between 1795 and 1800, the neighbouring commune of Les Chaises was absorbed. In 1846, that of Landouville was also absorbed.
