A little history
The earliest known traces of settlement date back to the Middle Palaeolithic. An archaeological dig (1986) uncovered the presence of a prehistoric site dating from the Middle Neolithic (3200–2500 BC). Arrowheads found near the source of the Trébignon also attest to the existence of a camp during the Mesolithic.
