A little history
Termenier, in Old French, denotes the boundary between the civitas Carnutum and the civitas Aurelianorum. Excavations carried out to the north of the village, undertaken as part of a preventive archaeological assessment, brought to light the remains of ceramics and a post-built structure dating from the end of the Iron Age, likely belonging to the Hallstatt period.
