A little history
A Gallo-Roman villa was present on the banks of the Rhône. It is possibly the station of Figlinis mentioned on the table de Peutinger. From a feudal point of view, Saint-Rambert-d'Albon was part of the comté d'Albon. Until around the end of the 17th century, a toll was levied there, known as the foires de Saint-Rambert and the patte de Saint Rambert.
