A little history
Ribécourt and Dreslincourt were both subject to Roman occupation. Ribécourt belonged to the abbaye Saint-Eloi de Noyon and Dreslincourt formed an important parish divided into several seigneuries. Ribécourt had its own lords until the 15th century. At the Revolution, these seigneurial jurisdictions were abolished and Ribécourt became the chief town of a canton in the arrondissement de Compiègne.
