Chasséen flint tools. Evidence of Gallo-Roman villas, potsherds, a high-relief of the god Mercure (musée de Die), and remains of tools, statues, mosaics and tools found in the surrounding fields. Remains of an early Christian chapel. The seigneury, from a feudal point of view, Puy-Saint-Martin was a fief held from the barony of la Garde-Adhémar, which had belonged to the Adhémar family since the 12th century.
