A little history
Dès l’Antiquité, Pélissanne est une ville carrefour. Les fouilles archéologiques, autour de la chapelle Saint-Laurent, commencées dans les années soixante-dix ont permis la découverte de nombreux vestiges de la période néolithique. Des vestiges importants ont ainsi été mis au jour, une villa gallo-romaine datant du Ier siècle av. J.-C. ainsi que des fondations d'une église du Ve siècle et de sa nécropole.
