The communes of Champ-du-Boult, Le Gast, Courson, Fontenermont, Mesnil-Clinchamps, Le Mesnil-Caussois, Le Mesnil-Benoist, Saint-Manvieu-Bocage, Saint-Sever-Calvados and Sept-Frères became delegated communes.
A little history
The commune was created on 1 January 2017 by a prefectoral order of 6 December 2016, by the merger of ten communes, under the legal framework for new communes established by law no 2010-1563 of 16 December 2010 on the reform of local authorities. Saint-Sever-Calvados is the chief town of the new commune.
