In the history of the Canet, one recalls the Belle du Canet, widow of Henri de Rascas, seigneur du Canet and first Consul of Aix. Lucrèce de Forbin-Solliès was the mistress of the duc Louis de Vendôme, himself also a widower of Laure Mancini, niece of the cardinal Mazarin.
