The commune has a population of 4,777 inhabitants.
A little history
The commune was created on 1 January 2017 by a prefectoral order of 26 September 2016, through the merger of seven communes, under the legal framework of new communes established by law no 2010-1563 of 16 December 2010 on the reform of local authorities. The communes of Aunay-sur-Odon, Bauquay, Campandré-Valcongrain, Danvou-la-Ferrière, Ondefontaine, Le Plessis-Grimoult and Roucamps became delegated communes, and Aunay-sur-Odon is the administrative centre of the new commune.
