A little history
Preventive excavations carried out by the Inrap at the ZAC de la Trémelière brought to light flint tools, as well as two schist bracelets. Numerous remains from the period of the 8th and 9th centuries were discovered in the north-west sector of the ZAC de la Trémelière, revealing around thirty dwellings built on posts for the great majority. These excavations were carried out by the teams of the Inrap. A small Gallo-Roman necropolis was also uncovered, containing funerary objects such as ceramic funerary vases and glass vessels.
