A little history
Before the 10th century, a pilgrimage to saint Léonard, established in the original chapel, was very well attended. From the 11th century, the village came under the authority of the abbaye de Sainte-Catherine. Two centuries later, the parish, which had 300 inhabitants, was served by the monks of that abbey. In 1513, the lord was Louis du Bosc, contrôleur du grenier à sel de Rouen.
