These include the Grotte Bianchi (middle Neolithic to late empire), the Aven de la Colle Loubière (Bronze Age to Iron Age), the Enceinte de la Bagarrée, or oppidum de Montmeuille (second Iron Age to late empire), Sanremo (Gallo-Roman period), the Bergerie des Crottes (Gallo-Roman period), and the Enceinte de Montgros (undetermined period). The Grotte Bianchi, where a collective burial dating from the end of the Chasséen period was discovered, occupied from the middle Neolithic and the Bronze Age, is the oldest known evidence of this.
