A little history
Institutional history. 49 years after its first request for separation, the commune was created on 6 July 1880 under the name of La Bourine by the splitting off of several hamlets from Auriol (a neighbouring commune in Bouches-du-Rhône). The commune was named La Bouilladisse on 26 May 1909. After the miners' strike of 1948, the mayor of the commune who had supported the movement was suspended. During the night of 14 to 15 August 1944, the opération Anvil Dragoon coordinated by the Allies was under way between Toulon and Cannes.
