Janville-en-Beauce is a new French commune resulting from the merger on 1 January 2019 of the communes of Allaines-Mervilliers, Janville and Le Puiset, situated in the département of Eure-et-Loir in the région of Centre-Val de Loire. Exposed to a modified oceanic climate, no permanent watercourse is recorded in the commune. The commune has a Natura 2000 site.
A little history
The commune was created on 1 January 2019 by a prefectoral order of 19 December 2018. It inherits the historical heritage of Janville and that of the stronghold of the seigneurs du Puiset, who were at war with the kings of France.
