A little history
Fuveau has its origins in the Roman era, even though few traces remain. In 1080, its name was cited for the first time in a charter. Hugues Roche, son of the late Jean Roche, judge of Forcalquier (1362-63), was co-lord of Fuveau. He paid homage on 28 July 1362.
