Courbevoie, the town
Courbevoie covers 4.2 km², lies between 25 and 56 m above sea level and had 82,902 inhabitants in the 2023 census.
Courbevoie is a French commune situated in the département of Hauts-de-Seine in the Île-de-France region, to the west of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine. The La Défense district, the principal business district of the Parisian conurbation, extends partly over Courbevoie, the remainder being shared between the communes of Puteaux, Nanterre and La Garenne-Colombes. Courbevoie, seat of the Société nautique de la basse Seine, hosted the rowing, swimming and water polo events of the 1900 Summer Olympic Games.
A little history
Originally, Courbevoie was a small hamlet of fishermen and wine growers. In the 8th century, the village was under the authority of the abbaye de Saint-Wandrille (in Seine-Maritime, near Caudebec-en-Caux). It then passed under the authority of the abbé de Saint-Denis in the 12th century. In the middle of the 12th century, the inhabitants of Courbevoie bought their freedom in order to sell their produce freely, without any corvée. However, the village remained dependent on the parish of Colombes until 1787.

Selling in Courbevoie
Pricing in Courbevoie starts by placing your property inside the €5,890 to €7,730 band rather than on the median alone. The median describes the middle of the market; condition, floor, outdoor space and energy rating decide where in the band you sit.
With 1,011 sales a year, Courbevoie absorbs correctly priced properties. An over-ambitious price shows quickly, because buyers have points of comparison.
Briveo values your Courbevoie property from the same DVF file, keeping only sales of comparable properties closest to your address, free of charge and with no obligation, then supports the sale through to the deed.
Buying in Courbevoie
Reading the €5,890 to €7,730 band is a buyer’s main tool in Courbevoie. A property at the bottom is not a bargain and one at the top is not a rip-off, the band measures how different the properties are, not how well they are priced.
Acquisition costs are budgeted on top of the price, around 8 % on an existing property, around 3 % on a new one. These are orders of magnitude; the notary computes the exact amount.
A stable market usually means a negotiation decided by the property itself rather than by any general trend.

Start with BriveoHow the Courbevoie market is moving
Over the last twelve published months the median apartment price moved by -0.3 %. That amounts to stability. Stability is the most common state of a local market, and it means sellers and buyers agree on price levels.
No five-year reading is available for Courbevoie. The apartment sales we currently use (2023 à 2025) do not go back far enough to compute one, so the long-term direction cannot be stated here.
Among the towns tracked by BRIVEO in the same department, on the median apartment price, Rueil-Malmaison sits 18 % below and Neuilly-sur-Seine 55 % above. Those are the gaps a buyer widening their search area actually meets.
