A little history
The site has been occupied since the Chalcolithic period. The sépultures de Canta-Perdrix are found there. They have been listed as Monuments historiques since 1913. In 790, Calvisson was recorded as the capital of Vaunage in an old parchment from the abbaye Notre-Dame de Nîmes.
