A little history
Three polished stone axes and a number of flint tools attest to a Neolithic presence (5000 to 2000 BC) on the territory. The site of Betton was then occupied during the Iron Age by the Gauls of the tribe of the Riedones, whose capital was Rennes. The names Evran and la Gravelle are reminders of this first Celtic settlement, around 600 BC.
