A little history
Several communes of the communauté de communes Epte-Vexin-Seine expressed a wish to come together into a new commune. This project to create a new commune was approved by the municipal councils of fourteen communes. The prefectural order of 4 December 2015 officially created the new commune, with it coming into effect on 1 January 2016.
