A little history
Excavations carried out in July 2004 revealed the existence of a Gallo-Roman rural settlement on the site of the current business zone. The ensemble uncovered, certainly a Gallo-Roman villa rustica, was established during the course of the 1st century, on previously unoccupied land, and endured until the 3rd century. In 1030, part of the village of Tôtes was given to the abbaye la Trinité-du-Mont de Rouen. A few years later, in 1066, a lord of Tôtes fought at the bataille d'Hastings.
