A little history
The new commune, resulting from the grouping together of the three communes of Caudebec-en-Caux, Saint-Wandrille-Rançon and Villequier, which on that occasion became délégated communes, was created on 1 January 2016 by a prefectoral order of 7 December 2015. This merger was intended not only to make it possible to work towards the pooling of resources between the different communes and to put in place projects in accordance with the charter voted at the time of the creation of the new commune, but also to make the commune stronger within the intercommunauté in a context of profound changes to the landscape of local authorities.
