A little history
The commune was created on 1 January 2016 by a prefectural order of 15 December 2015, by the merger of two communes, under the legal framework of new communes established by law no 2010-1563 of 16 December 2010 on the reform of local authorities. The communes of Lozon and Marigny became délégué communes and Marigny is the chief town of the new commune. The former station of Carantilly - Marigny, situated in Carantilly on the ligne de Lison à Lamballe, closed at the end of 2018.
