Londinières is a French commune situated in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandie region.
A little history
The commune of Londinières grew in 1823 by absorbing the hamlet of Boissay-sur-Eaulne, which is situated to the east of the road linking Dieppe to Neufchâtel en Bray, next to Arques-la-bataille. In old deeds, this place is referred to as Buxetum Sancti Filiberti, meaning a place planted with box trees, dedicated to St Philibert. Boissay-sur-Eaulne has been a property of the de Milleville family since the 16th century, when in 1536 Jehan de Milleville purchased the fief from Jean de Ricarville. In 1557, as the Reformed faith was gaining many followers, a cemetery was opened in the grounds of the château de Boissay, and in 1638 a request was made to establish a Protestant church there.
