Lévignac (also unofficially known as Lévignac-sur-Save) is a French commune situated in the north of the département of Haute-Garonne, in the Occitanie region. From a historical and cultural standpoint, the commune lies within the pays de Rivière-Verdun, a small electoral pays in the east of Gascogne, set apart from the main communication routes, and spread across the terraces of the left bank of the Garonne, between the vallée de la Save and the Lomagne, extending into Gascogne toulousaine. Exposed to an altered oceanic climate, it is drained by the Save, the ruisseau de Cérès and various other small watercourses.
