A little history
Roman occupation. A holiday retreat of King Dagobert Ier, raised as a fortress during the ducal period, Étrépagny was in the 16th century the property of Marie de Bourbon, duchesse de Longueville, and of the Turgot family in the 18th century. The original village occupied the marshy grounds of the clos vert before the 11th century. Dwellings were concentrated around Saint-Rock, la Bonde and Valtot (and its mill).
