A little history
The occupation of the site of Blangy-sur-Bresle is very ancient. An occupation dating from the 3rd millennium or the end of the 2nd millennium BC is attested by several excavation campaigns carried out on the butte du Campigny to the north-west of the town. In 1886, Philippe Salmon gave the prehistoric civilisation the name of the butte, the Campignien. The site has been visited by numerous local and national archaeologists.
