Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy is the second most populous commune in the Métropole du Grand Nancy and in the French département of Meurthe-et-Moselle, in Lorraine, and the fourteenth most populous town in the administrative region of Grand Est. A small village until the 19th century, Vandœuvre experienced very strong population growth after the Second World War due to periurbanisation.
