Its inhabitants are known as the Malbuissonnais and Malbuissonnaises. Perched above the lac de Saint-Point, between the water and the forest, the village of Malbuisson stretches over two kilometres between the Vézenay, a hamlet that was formerly a village in its own right, and the forêt de la Fuvelle.
