La commune possède un patrimoine naturel remarquable, deux sites Natura 2000 (les « gorges de l'Hérault » et les « hautes garrigues du Montpelliérais »), un espace protégé (les « gorges de l'Hérault ») et quatre zones naturelles d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique.
