The communal territory includes a large part of the Bonnevaux forest massif, which is dotted with numerous ponds, most of them created by the monks of the abbaye de Bonnevaux. These stretches of water, away from large urban areas and managed in a responsible manner, have allowed the development of significant biodiversity with a great diversity of faunal and floral species.
