Les Allues is a French commune situated in the south of the département of Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. A mountain commune in the massif de la Vanoise, in Tarentaise, it comprises thirteen villages and is home to a winter sports resort that has developed around two main centres, Méribel (1,450 m) and Méribel-Mottaret (1,750 m), located at the heart of the Les Trois Vallées ski area. It was among the 31 communes to have received the label "station classée de tourisme" on 1 January 2012, the only one in Savoie, and subsequently renewed under the 2013 reform, when it was joined by four other Savoyard communes.
